People: Marcus Wendt

Marcus Wendt, co-founder of London-based creative studio FIELD, credits mentor Andy Allenson with teaching him to merge graphic design with code. "He showed me, 'hey, you can put those things together,'" Wendt explains. This realisation transformed his trajectory from art student to digital creator. The studio name itself reflects Wendt's philosophy: "I drew a map" of interconnected disciplines—AI, interactivity, geometry—and recognised "it's a field." With 20+ employees across London and Berlin, FIELD has evolved from a two-person lifestyle business into a pan-European studio creating immersive experiences for clients including Apple, Nike and IBM.
