Suprachromacy

London studio Field presents macro infrared photography of plants from Lanzarote's landscape. The series asks whether "colour [is] a property, or a sensation — a part of the object, or the spectator?" Viewed through infrared technology, plants reveal unexpected hues of pinks, yellows and blues, appearing almost extraterrestrial. The project explores how technological advances expose hidden colour depths in nature, challenging conventional perceptions of reality.
