Suprachromacy

London studio FIELD transformed Canary Islands flora through full-spectrum macro photography in their Suprachromacy series. Creative director Marcus Wendt captured native drought-adapted plants in infrared, rendering them in surreal colours. The project explores whether colour is "a property, or a sensation—a part of the object, or the spectator?" by challenging viewers' perceptions of natural hues and inviting consideration of how botanical life might appear under alien suns.
